New Group CEO in Nortelco

Trond Hovind has been appointed Group CEO of Nortelco Invest AS, Nortelco AS, and Nortelco Treotham AS. He succeeds Tore Strand, who will retire on June 1 after 36 years with the Nortelco Group. To ensure a smooth and seamless transition, Tore will remain for one month alongside the new CEO and will then continue to support Nortelco as a consultant and Board member of the three companies.

Trond brings more than 25 years of experience from the electrical, telecom, broadband, and smart home sectors, and has held senior roles including CEO, CCO, COO, Advisor, and Director Business Development in Norwegian, Nordic, and European companies. He joins from Genexis Group, where he most recently served as Director Business Development, following earlier roles including CCO. Previously, he was CEO and CCO of Heimgard Technologies, where he led commercial strategy, organizational development, and operational execution in a merged company. He also held several leadership positions in Inteno, including CEO and COO of Inteno Broadband Technology AS in Norway, where he helped build the company into a market leader. In addition, he was a co-founder of Inteno Communication, which grew from a start-up to approximately NOK 70 million in revenue within three years.

Throughout his career, Trond has combined strong technological insight with commercial drive and a high level of execution. He is recognized for building teams, professionalizing organizations, and turning strategy into growth and tangible results.

He joins Nortelco with strong motivation and deep respect for the company’s heritage and position in the market.
